BYOD: Bring Your Own Device

What is Bring Your Own Device?

BYOD is a Colonial School District initiative. Room 104 was part of the pilot program last year and we are excited to continue as year two kicks off!

Why BYOD?
The BYOD initiative  has been put in place not only to bring technology into the classroom and make it more accessible to students, but also to increase student achievement.

What if I don't have a device?
This initiative is still in its early stages. No student will be penalized in any way if they do not have a device or you do not wish for them to be involved at this time; however, I am more than happy to help you locate an appropriate device for use. We will gain access to school devices as often as possible to ensure all students are working with technology over the course of the year!
